Brief on Indian History

You may need many books to record the history of rich and cultural India. You can also find a lot of books on the market place. Let us look at some aspects of the history of attacks on India by outsiders.

On the midnight of 15 August 1947, India attained independence from British hegemony. Earlier, they ruled our country inhumanly for almost 200 years.

Many centuries ago, India was a safe and prosperous country. It was the most prominent country in the world. Therefore, people from many countries arrived here seeking resources, knowledge, culture and food. But people from Europe and beyond who had heard about India, however, couldn't visit here.

Because there was no technology at the time, they did not know where India was on the planet. For that, many people made arrangements on a larger scale to discover India. Many of those who did so were unsuccessful.

Columbus, desirous of finding India, board of his ship for the reason. Since he took the opposite path to India succeeded to get the land of America. He named the Native Americans as the "Red Indians". In this way, Columbus found America in the plan to ‘Discover India’.

Vasco da Gama, a famous sailor from Portugal and the first European who reached India on 8th May 1498. He arrived in India using the "Cape of Good Hope" of Africa.

Culture of India

We have 10,000 years of history which the whole world is interested to know. Many people invaded our country, destroying our knowledge and temples and they plundered our wealth. But none could make us less in anything is always on the top of the world because of its ‘Culture’.

India has been a nation of its culture, customs and ideas since ancient times. There are unique practices like Yoga, Meditation, Ayurveda, Mantra’s, Food, Festivals, Dressing Sense which has become increasingly important at the present time, developed in this country centuries ago. But they had not got much publicity until now. Now most countries of the world are interested in the culture and languages of India.

The Sages dwelling in those times revealed many such ideas with their great achievements. Most of such ideas and texts have disappeared from our availability. Most of the present inventions are based on it too. Thus India has a very great history.
